Trevor Maurice Bruce Ayson. 1931 -
Sub-Chief 1970 - 1985.
Trevor was born in Christchurch in 1931, son of Bruce Ayson , grandson of John, great grandson of Peter.
At the age of 16 years Trevor went to work for his father in the business in Colombo Street. In these early years he furthered his education by attending Polytech for 3 years.
In 1953, he married Phyllis Brokenshire, and with his wife, mother and father, worked very hard in their business, building it to what it is today.
His sporting interests were rugby league, athletics, and coaching in hockey and athletics. Interests today include belonging to the Lions and being a Kawana member.
Trevor's business interests are Managing Director of B. Ayson & Son Ltd. and Ex Director Mitre I0 New Zealand Ltd. Auckland.
When the executive of the Clan Ayson Society executive transferred to Christchurch in 1970, Trevor was enthusiastic in his support as Sub-Chief.
